dietary guidelines

therapeutic foods:
• foods rich in Vitamins A, B-complex, C and E, Zinc
• foods rich in Silicon (Jensen)
• black bass, rye, avocados, sea vegetables, whey, apple, cucumbers, millet, rice polishings, rice bran, sprouts (Jensen, p. 63)

fresh juices:
• carrot, celery, lemon (Jensen, p. 63)
• cucumber, endive, pineapple (Jensen, p. 63)
• carrot juice or carrot tea (Shefi)
» boils: swiss chard (Chao-liang, Qing-rong, Bao-zhen, p. 42)

specific remedies:
• apply mashed alfalfa sprouts and change poultice three times daily-four times per day (Ni, p. 27)
• apply crushed, fresh dandelion leaves topically (Ni, p. 36)
• apply mashed lettuce, changing poultice three times daily, and drink l cup of lukewarm lettuce juice three times daily (Ni, p. 39)
• apply Vitamin E oil topically
• apply honey topically (Shefi)
• apply powdered sugar topically
• simmer the crushed shell of a fresh coconut in water. Wash the affected areas with this liquid three times daily (Yin-fang and Cheng-jun, p. 87)
• take 150 g of cherry pits, crush, simmer in liquid, strain and use liquid to wash the skin three times daily-four times per day (Yin-fang and Cheng-jun, p. 94)

avoid:
• meat, alcohol, hot sauces, spicy foods, fried foods, fatty foods, rich foods, salty foods, coffee, caffeine, sweet foods and sugar, alcohol, cow's milk and other dairy products, white bread, refined foods, processed foods


supplements

• folic acid (Kopjas, 1968)
• Vitamin C 2 g per day
• Vitamin E (oral and topical) 400 IU per day
• Zinc 60 mg per day
