image: Close your eyes. Breathe in and out three times. Let the everyday quality of your mind fade away as you relax into the realm of deepest imagination. When you are ready, find yourself laying on your back in the middle of a vast plain of soft and fragrant grasses under a wide, clear, and open sky. Take a moment to enjoy the comfort you derive from the contours of the Earth. Contours that seem to have been premeasured and sculpted for you alone. It has been a long time, since life has felt to you as good as this. Make the most of the opportunity and delight in this moment of peace and beauty. Notice that far off across the sky there is an odd smudge upon the horizon. The part of you that notes and compares your experiences in the world, knows that this is a far off storm and knows as well that it approaches. The part of you that is in tune with this place and times is unconcerned and even pleasantly expectant. So you remain out there in the open, watching as the smudge grows closer and more well defined. It is the twin funnels of a double whirlwind. Something that you have never seen or even heard of before. The strangeness of this storm has peaked your interest and you watch more closely, until the winds are directly above your body as it lies. Now you see that neither funnel was quite as large as you had expected and that they move in a peculiar manner. The darkness that had seemed a smudge on the horizon, is not the airborne dust that you had expected but the blur of movement so swift and constant, that the light that hits it, must be deflected and therefore difficult to see. At this point you realize, that deep inside of you, there is a recognition of this swift, powerful and so very welcome twist of wind. Suddenly the light of understanding comes over you, letting you name this storm, as the very breath of life itself. No sooner do you name it, than it descends upon you, two humming funnels of life's own air at once. One wind finds your nostrils and whips instantly inside. While the other wind twists around you and pulls at the very cells that live within your skin. Yet there is no buffeting or pounding, such as you might expect from a storm. The breath of life is pouring through you and swirling around you and you feel lighter, freer, invigorated as if this were the swiftest and most energy enhancing possible massage. The breath of life is breathing you. Each cell within your body is being sucked clean of all impurities and filled with new life. Every organ made from these refurbished cells, you can feel, freely reestablishing its own integrity. The whole of you is free at last to remake itself, letting go of the effects of wrong turns and foolish choices that may in the past have made you vulnerable to limitation and disease. This feels wonderful. Take all the time you need to take pleasure in this change. Then allow your eyes to slowly open once again. (Chavez)
