Cinnamon and Dragon Bone C. = Gui Zhi Jia Long Gu Mu Li Tang = "Cinnamon Twig Decoction plus Dragon Bone and Oyster Shell"

signs and symptoms: Involuntary emissions, dreaming of sexual intercourse, night sweats, lower abdominal spasms, cold penis, watery diarrhea, dizziness, headaches, anxiety, palpitations, insomnia and dream-disturbed sleep, loss of hair.
tongue and pulse: Hollow, slow pulse.
indications: Yin and Yang Xu (Deficiency) with Kidney and Heart not Communicating. With the appropriate presentation, may be used in conditions conventionally diagnosed as nervous exhaustion due to sexual excess, pain from varicocele, palpitations, insomnia, enuresis, and nocturnal emissions.
cautions and contraindications:
ingredients: dosage for one day:
» 4 grams: cinnamon twig (gui zhi), fresh ginger (sheng jiang), white peony (bai shao yao), jujube (da zao).
» 3 grams: dragon bone (long gu), oyster shell (mu li).
» 2 grams: licorice (gan cao).
modifications:
» for severe loss of semen, add rubus fruit (fu pen zi) and rosa fruit (jin ying zi).
» for Qi Xu (Deficiency), add astragalus (huang qi) and codonopsis (dang shen).
