indications: beriberi; asthenia of the lower extremities; pain and/or weakness of the knee; arthritis of the knee; paralysis of the foot
needle technique: straight or slanted insertion, 0.5 - 1.0 cun
moxa: 3 - 7 cones of direct moxa; 5 - 15 minutes of indirect moxibustion with a pole
