qigong: obesity
1. stand with feet shoulder width apart, toes turned slightly inward and arms at sides, with backs of hands facing thighs; lift arms with elbows bent, turning palms until they face up at chest level; do this while breathing in deeply
2. standing with backs of hands facing each other, bend forward as far as possible, without pain, while exhaling
3. standing, clench each hand into fist with arms at sides; raise hands as if lifting
heavy object with tops of fists; turn your fists so that fingers face up as hands reach level and inhale deeply
4. standing, fists at sides, fingers facing out, lift arms straight out to sides while exhaling
5. standing, holding arms out to sides with fists, rotate hands forward with exhale; reverse on inhale; with exhale turn fists back forward; with inhale bring fists together on abdomen; with exhale push fists against abdomen (relax standing, with 3 breath cycles; then repeat sequence 10-30 times)
