definition

image: Close your eyes. Breathe in and out three times. Feel your whole body relax and as it does, notice that a few places in your body do not relax as easily as the rest. Perhaps the spot that concerns you most is your heart area. Quietly consider what that might mean for you in every way. When this moment of consideration has fulfilled itself and you are ready, allow your chest to open, as would a flower on a bright spring morning and see and feel your own hands, bring out your heart. Notice, to your dismay, that it is battered and bruised. That little pebbles are shallowly embedded in its surface, the way pebbles may get impressed into the soles of the feet, whenever they get into your shoe, at a time when you have been giving no attention to your physical situation. Immediately begin to bathe and massage the heart and let each pebble fall away. Feel the immense sensation of relief, as your heart is tended to as it should have been all along. Watch the bruises heal rapidly and see the damaged tissue rapidly be replaced. When your heart is restored, place it back within your chest and let the chest wall fold up naturally. Let yourself feel good all over and then allow your eyes to slowly open once again. (Chavez)
