image: Close your eyes. Breathe in and out three times. Let yourself relax into your own imagination and with your inner awareness travel the world, letting yourself arrive at any place that you are drawn to. Notice, with a sinking heart, that you find yourself attracted to an ocean of desolation. Nothing moves here but the wind, yet you can clearly see that what was here not long ago, was teeming life. Look around you at all the signs of withered growth. This is the magnet, that has drawn you like a poet returning to the source of inspiration. Here is the home of your inner mood. Realize that you never intended to be such a life-withered human being and feel warm tears of deep regret, well up in your eyes. As you continue to move around within this reflection of your inner being, the teardrops fall like rain from the sky. Presently, you notice that your mood is slowly lightening as the tears wash the chemistry of darkness from your body and the darkness of chemistry from your soul. After a time of continued weeping, it is plain to see that the tears are having yet another good effect, for they irrigate the land through which you walk. Parched ground has begun to heal, withered growths begin to sprout anew and all the time your tears keep falling, and your mood continues to feel better. Nothing can stop you now from shedding tears of joy upon the land and with these drops, a new magic takes hold. Newly sprouted life runs amok and newly moistened land turns lush, while your newly invigorated self is filled with enthusiasm. Take all the time you need to enjoy these new conditions, Then let your eyes gently open once again. (Chavez)
