males: 0-55 IU/L
females: 0-44 IU/L
healthy: 5-30 IU/L

conditions that can exhibit an increase in GGT:
Liver disease (follows alkaline phosphatase: acute or chronic hepatitis, cirrhosis, fatty liver, biliary disease, liver cancer, cholestasis); In children; Pancreatitis; Acute MI; Kidney disease; Drug therapy (alcohol, barbiturates, Dilantin); Obesity.

conditions that can exhibit a decrease in GGT:
Pregnancy; High exercising; Kidney failure; Bone disease.
