GV-20 (D): raises Qi; warms the Yang (D); regulates and tonifies the Qi (D); adjusts Qi of the Du Mai (Governing Vessel); elevates the Clear Qi; spreads Liver Qi; causes Yang to ascend (D); secures the lower Orifices (D); esp. useful in treating prolapse of uterus; Sea of Marrow point; Jiao Hui Intersecting point of the six Yang channels and the Du Mai (Governing Vessel)
GV-1 (+): opens the Ren Mai (Conception Vessel) and Du Mai (Governing Vessel); regulates the Intestines; secures the lower Orifices, particularly benefits the Qi of the anal sphincter; retracts the anus; treats hemorrhoids; esp. used for prolapse of anus; Entry and Luo Connecting point of the Du Mai (Governing Vessel)
