Tang Kuei, Evodia and Ginger C. = Dang Gui Si Ni Jia Wu Zhu Yu Sheng Jiang Tang = "Tang kuei Decoction for Frigid Extremities plus Evodia and Fresh Ginger"

signs and symptoms: Loose stools, nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain and distention, cold hands and feet, headaches.
tongue and pulse: Extremely thin pulse.
indications: Internal Cold with Xue (Blood) and Yang Xu (Deficiency). With the appropriate presentation, this formula may be used in treating conditions conventionally diagnosed as weak pulse, chills in the hands and feet, excessive sweating, sciatica, hernia, skin diseases, petechia, uterine pain, and diarrhea.
cautions and contraindications:
ingredients: dosage for two days:
» 10 grams: white peony (bai shao yao).
» 9 grams: Chinese angelica (tang kuei) (dang gui), cinnamon twig (gui zhi).
» 6 grams: akebia (mu tong).
» 3 grams: evodia (wu zhu yu), fresh ginger (sheng jiang), asarum (xi xin), honey-baked licorice (zhi gan cao), jujube (da zao).
