actions: reinforces Kidney Qi; regulates the Chong Mai (Penetrating Vessel) and Ren Mai (Conception Vessel); helps regulate seminal emission
indications: eye pain and inflammation beginning at medial canthus; lower abdominal pain and distension; cystitis; urinary retention; chronic vaginitis; leukorrhea, esp. red discharge; uterine prolapse; frigidity; difficulty conceiving; vaginismus; pain in the genitals; genital retraction; pain in penis; seminal emission; seminal emission; neuralgia of the spermatic cord; low back pain
needle technique: perpendicular insertion, 1.0 - 1.5 cun, producing local pain and a sensation of distension
moxa: 3 - 5 cones of direct moxa; 5 - 20 minutes of indirect moxa with a pole
