BEYOND INDIVIDUAL VISUALIZATIONS:

Visualizations from the literature are often logical and a useful starting point, but are necessarily normative. They mobilize healing response through use of will, but solidify external formulation. Sufficient permission must also be present for the patient to consciously experience and come to terms with the personally unique negative and shadow elements expressed in the symptom, as demonstrated by C.J. Jung and A. Mindell. (Wambach)
