Jiao Hui Intersecting of the Hand Yang Ming (Large Intestine) channel, Ren Mai (Conception Vessel) and Yang Qiao Mai (Yang Motility Vessel) on the Foot Yang Ming (Stomach) channel
location: 0.4 cun lateral to the corner of the mouth, on the pupil line.
actions: dissipates Wind; frees the channels, esp. removes Obstructions in channels of face; relaxes the sinews and tendons
indications: suddenly dumb; aphasia; general catarrhal condition; facial neuralgia and paralysis; spasm of the eyelid; cannot see clearly at night; nystagmus; trigeminal neuralgia; deviation of mouth; excessive salivation; laryngitis; swelling of the feet
needle technique: perpendicular insertion, 0.2 - 0.3 cun, or horizontal insertion, 0.5 - 1.0 cun, laterally toward St-6, producing a local sensation of soreness and distension or pain, either locally or side of face
moxa: 3 - 7 cones of direct moxa; 5 - 15 minutes of indirect moxa with a pole
