guacamole

• ingredients:
2 ripe avocados (a little soft if pressed)
juice of one lemon
2-3 cloves crushed garlic
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
cayenne and black pepper to taste

• method:
1. Peel and mash the avocado. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.

• variations:
1. Experiment with varying the texture and taste by adding the following chopped vegetables: green and red pepper, onion, cucumber, hard cooked egg, tomato, tomatillas, olives, cilantro or yogurt.
