indications: Damp-Heat.
cautions and contraindications:
ingredients: dosage for two days:
» 30 grams: coix (yi yi ren), talc (hua shi).
» 12 grams: tokoro (bi xie), poria (fu ling).
» 9 grams: phellodendron (huang bai), moutan bark (mu dan pi), alisma (ze xie).
» 6 grams: tetrapanax (tong cao).
modifications:
» for upper body lesions, add 10 grams morus leaf (sang ye), 15 grams chrysanthemum flower (ju hua), and 3 grams cicada (chan tui), and omit poria (fu ling) and phellodendron (huang bai).
» for eczema over the abdominal region, add 10 grams coptis (huang lian) and scute (huang qin), and omit phellodendron (huang bai).
» for eczema on the lower limbs, add 10 grams achyranthes (huai niu xi) and plantago seed (che qian zi).
» for constipation, add 20 grams rhubarb (da huang) after the decoction is well cooked.
